Sage Optional Fields for Magento Integration

 

Outline

Using Sage’s Optional Fields helps to enable better syncing between Sage and Magento by allowing the saving of foreign keys (and other information) along with the entity record in Sage.

Optional Fields Module

The Optional Fields module in Sage300 must be installed. It can be found in Common Services.

Optional Fields

MAGCUSTID

Number (0)

“Magento Customer Id”

Used as foreign key to Magento for Magento’s Customer Id field.

 

MAGADDRID

Number (0)

“Magento Address Id”

Used as foreign key to Magento for Magento’s Customer Address Id field.

 

MAGORDERID

Number (0)

“Magento Order Id”

Magento Order Increment Id.

 

MAGINVID

Number (0)

“Magento Invoice Id”

Magento Order Invoice Id.

 

MAGEXPORTED

Boolean (Yes/No)

“Magento Exported Flag”

1 / 0 - Whether or not Magento item has been shipped.

 

MAGITEMID

Number (0)

“Magento Order Item Id”

Foreign key for Magento item_id which is used in Shipment creation.

 

 

Optional Field Assignment

 

In Sage 300, click on A/R Setup, then "Optional Fields," assign the following fields to each category:

 

A/R Customer

MAGCUSTID

MAGADDRID

 

A/R Ship-To Addresses

MAGADDRID

 

 

Now click O/E Setup, then "Optional Fields," assign the following fields to each category:

 

O/E Orders

MAGORDERID

 

O/E Order Detail
